What we do

Scanned. Redesigned. Remade.

From a broken original to a part that fits.

How it works

Scanned

Scanned

We 3D-scan your original part, even if it’s broken or in pieces, to capture its exact shape and fixing points.

Redesigned

Redesigned

We rebuild it as a clean model in professional CAD, designing out the damage and adding strength where the original was weak.

Remade

Remade

We print it in an engineering plastic chosen for the job, check the fit, and send it to you ready to use.

Your part in the process

Remaking a part is a joint effort. We do the scanning, design and printing, but we can’t get the fit right without you and your vehicle. Here’s what we’ll ask of you:

  • Send us photos. A few angles of the part, with a ruler or tape measure in shot, plus the make, model and year of the vehicle and where the part fits. We’ll tell you whether we can help, and give you a price before you spend anything.
  • Post us the original. Even if it’s broken or in pieces, it’s our best reference. Send it by tracked post and it comes back to you with your new part.
  • Test-fit the first print. Try it on the vehicle the way the original fits, check the clips, screw holes and gaps, and send us photos and a few notes on what’s right and what isn’t.
  • Let us fine-tune it. If anything needs adjusting, we change the design and reprint. We agree up front how many fit adjustments are included.

You know your vehicle better than anyone. The best-fitting parts come from owners who test-fit carefully and tell us exactly what they see.

The right material for the job

We print in engineering plastics chosen for how and where the part is used:

  • TPU for flexible parts such as grommets, seals and bump stops.
  • ASA for UV-resistant parts in sunny interiors and on exteriors, or carbon-fibre-filled ASA (ASA-CF) where extra stiffness is needed.
  • Polyamide (PA, nylon) for tough, load-bearing parts: PA12, or carbon-fibre-filled PA-CF for extra stiffness.

What we make, and what we don’t

We make non-safety-critical parts: interior trim, clips, brackets, knobs, vents, bezels, covers and similar.

We don’t make parts for brakes, steering, suspension, seat belts or anything else whose failure could cause an accident.

For garages, restorers and clubs

Need a part scanned, modelled or printed for your business or club? We can supply the printed part, the CAD model, or both.

We also design new parts from scratch. If you do custom builds or fit modern equipment into older vehicles, we can design brackets, mounts, panels and housings around your parts and the space they have to fit: an audio head unit in a period dashboard, a speaker pod in a door card, or a USB socket in a console, as in our Lotus Esprit case study.

Every part we make is kept as a precise digital model, so we can print another on demand, make a small batch, or prepare it for injection moulding.

Obsolete isn’t the end.

Got a part that can’t be replaced?

Send us a few photos of the part and tell us which vehicle it’s from. We’ll tell you what’s possible.
